Scott is a native of Cable, Wisconsin.  Not surprisingly, he is also a lover of all things outdoors. He grew up skiing, biking, hunting and fishing and each remains a passion of his today.

After high school, Scott left Cable for college, graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1993.  A move to Minneapolis found him occupied with business travel that took him to North America’s most beautiful locales.  However, what he realized after 3+ years on the road, is that there is no place like Cable.  He returned home in the fall of 1996 joining his father, Bill McKinney in the real estate business.

Today, Scott is a valued member of the Cable community as a husband, father, business owner, outdoors enthusiast, and volunteer.  His history and deep roots make him an expert on all things local.  It’s these attributes, along with his friendly, out-going personality, that make him so rewarding to work with.
